Peter
Smith is a Painter and Printmaker. He has
a studio at the St Bride Foundation, Bride Lane, off Fleet Street, London. He studied Fine Art at Birmingham School of
Art and Design and Art Education at Manchester in 1970 and In 1992 he gained an MA in Printmaking
at Wimbledon School of Art From 1971 he taught in secondary and further
education and between 1979 and 1981 he was West Midlands Fine Art Fellow
working as Artist in Residence with Dudley Education Services. From 1983 to 2010 he was Head of the School
of Art and Design at Kingston College.
He exhibits in the UK and overseas and his work is in public and private
collections as well as teaching workshops in the visual arts.
